BelMundo is Groot Eiland's restaurant in the renovated malthouse in Belvue. You will find a daily special and a vegetarian option, various surprising salads, pastas, soups, a wide choice of desserts, all a la carte or according to a four-course menu. On Thursday and Friday evenings, you can enjoy an elaborate dinner in a warm atmosphere, and on the first Sunday of the month, the chefs prepare a brunch.

Reservations are recommended and can be made via the link at the bottom right of this page.
For groups of more than 10 people, reservations are required. In case of late cancellation (24h), we charge a fixed fee of €75.

You go for sustainability
BelMundo is part of Groot Eiland, an organisation that offers training to people who are far from the labour market. Under expert guidance, future catering employees are given the chance to train as kitchen or dining room staff.
Part of the organic vegetables we serve are harvested in the vegetable gardens of Groot Eiland by people in employment care . We work exclusively with local producers, including for our drinks menu. We work daily with surplus food from the early market or from the supermarket. Zero-waste is key.
The entire furnishing of the restaurant was made from recycled pallet wood by our carpentry atelier Boomerang. This furniture is also for sale here.
